T-35 Tank, Modelik 1:25 scale

Gents,

This model is published by Modelik and is of the 1930's T-35, Russian tank. It's quite detailed and features a full interior.

Have had this model in stock for many yeas and have purchased the laser-cut accessories when funding allows.

Built up the wheels first as the tracks are already built up. These took about a month. I've added rivets for extra detail.

The interior coverings were added prior to assembly. The frames have been tacked together using super glue then finished off with PVA

The Russians only ever built about 60+ of these tanks. There was an updated version with different turrets in 1936? The T-35s which could still run were thrown into the Battle of Brody, west of Kiev in 1941. Most broke down before going into action and the thin armour made them easy kills for the panzers.

Interior, is largely complete.

Nothing too difficult. Though, most of it will be covered up.

Starting to look like a tank:

The axles run through the tank body. These are paper lolly sticks bought from a local craft store.
