Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer, Micro Model, Scale 1:35

from original to model.
A micro model from 1991. The scale is 1:35. 4 tank models from this publisher are known to me. There is the Tiger and the Panther. A Panzer IV in gray and the Hetzer.
Why now the Hetzer? Because I blew away 5 opponents on WOT (first photo). To thank I build him and think of my "great" success.

As always, I cut off the glue tabs and put in newly made ones. More work, but it's worth it.

The reinforcement around the "gun hole" did not cause any problems. The hull was easily closed with new adhesive tabs. Hull and superstructure fit together exelent. So far everything is right. I had the same experience with the Tiger.

Hi Maxe, that's a good start! I notice from one of the pictures that you use UHU "Vielzweckkleber" and "Alleskleber". I'm using the Alleskleber (all-purpose glue) as well but have never heard of the "multi-purpose glue". Is there any difference?

Hallo Erik, er is een verschil: UHU zwart met oplosmiddel (alcohol). UHU groen op waterbasis. UHU zwart is meer geschikt voor papieren modellen.

Hello Erik, there is a difference: UHU black with solvent (alcohol). UHU green water-based. UHU black more suitable for paper models.

Unlike many 1:25 tank models, no box is built from 1mm cardboard and then glued. The micro models in 1:35 get along with a frame. I have given the framework additional stability by gluing tabs. As a test, I inserted the hull and the upper part to see if there were any problems. Basically, you should always drywall before gluing, it will save you a lot of trouble! Glued is glued, so no swearing afterwards will help. Oh, who am I telling!

I cut out a piece of cardboard from the hull. I may need this for repair, or to hide uncovered cardboard parts. The hole in the bottom will not be noticed later. It would also be great if the model sheets had a page with cardboard parts with all the colors that occur!!!!

Constructing the hump was certainly not easy. Gluing it together piece by piece was. In the gun barrel is a shish kebab skewer, which is a little shorter at the front. So you think later, the thing is hollow. And at the end, wrap the skewer with thin paper, so the gun barrel is conical. I don't add the tube until the very end. It only disturbs.
