Thanks for this info, Ryan.
I'm glad to know that Alberto's homepage still exists, but I note that the links to his models at Cards result in 404 errors. The last update was in 2014. There is a link to a Facebook page, which I can't access. Don |

Yes, but that is not the same one I built. You linked to the M2A1. Different tank.
Patton's tank M1A1 is still listed as "for sale" at Ecardmodels.

Fantastic work Ray. I for one would love to know the Inkscape tools and techniques that you used, as the end result turned out great.

The free interwar models of Alberto Perilli are downloadable from Landships II.
(Landships II). I don't have the M1A1 Patton light tank on Landships II - that was commercial back then. Last update on Perry's Facebook page was in 2014. The Patton tank was from the 1941 Louisiana Maneuvers. I have a recollection that many of the tanks of unit commanders were painted with coloured markings to help with identification - there may be other colour schemes waiting to be modelled. Doug, thank you! The majority of the Inkscape tools I used are the pen, object properties
(line thickness, color, opacity, and blur). It's just a matter of balancing personal taste and visual appeal. Charlie, thanks for the additional input. In his writeup in the model, Perry stated it was used in the Tennessee maneuvers, which is what I went with. Maybe used a few times?
