Ray, that makes sense now that I think about it. I wondered what the round pieces were on the top corners...fuel caps!
Dan, that dude likes making more work for himself. Good for him if he enjoys it. Wonder if he hits any of those typical Angraf gremlins during his build. Wish it was in English.... Greg

Front end equipment. Since this is a BMP-2E it has mine clearing equipment on the front.
Drawings were vague in spots. I ended up looking at Dragon model instructions on scalemates for additional clues on how to build these paper parts. The mine clearing parts do move for now but I may end up gluing them solid before the build is done. Greg

Nice progress, Greg.
I don't know what the equipment on the front is, but it looks diabolical and cool. Great work...Dan |

Those are part of the KMT-10 mine plough system, IIRC.

It is coming along nicely. I don't know when mine clearing vehicles first came into being. Was it in WWII with Hobart's Funnies?

Some top side details: lights, front plate, grills, and misc greeblies.
Lights: horrid petals Front plate: builds fine. This plate would be deployed during amphibious use. Only thing is that the BMP-2E was no longer an amphibious variant. Grills: other than trying to figure out the shroud on the small grill, no issues. Greeblies: fiddly. Thought for the day: Not knowing the process used to design/draw these by hand, I would think it might be easier to draw really small parts at a larger scale then photo reduce them. This would result in better consistency and fit of really little fiddly parts.... Greg

I think petal designs are almost universally hated...but I admire those who can make them shine. Your stuff looks great, Greg.

Side skirts - these were not fun. Fit is horrible.
Miscellaneous white spots covered on the top side. No real issues with these. General comment: the illustration numbering does not follow construction by numerical part numbers. Neither way is really correct. I've been following illustration numbers only to find I needed to fit a lower numbered part later that needed modified to fit. This is truly frustrating. And yes this issue raised its ugly head during side skirt construction.... Greg
