Pantsir S1

Hello everyone!

I recently started building a new model. It is a Russian anti-aircraft kit Pantsir S1 on a Kamaz 6560 chassis with Syrian army camouflage. The model comes from YG-model.

The cabin is poorly designed. For this purpose, I bought a Kamaz 4350 model from Answer and based on a scan, I modified the cabin to be similar to the Kamaz 6560 cabin.
The kit included laser-cut elements. Unfortunately, the person who did it did not take into account the size of the laser spot (which was quite large judging by the gap after cutting) and these elements are cut out as too small... The laser-cut elements will probably end up in the trash and the elements will have to be glued to cardboard in a traditional way.

For now I have the wheels ready. I usually make the wheels my way (full cardboard discs, glued together and sanded to the shape of a tire). This time I wanted to try the wheels made according to what the kit offers. There is one advantage. The weight of all these wheels is pretty much the same as one wheel made my way I don't like these wheels, but I'll leave them as they are.

Are you kidding us? These wheels look like rubber, not even plastic!!! I love them! I wish I could do them as clear as these.

Amazing. I didn't realise there was a Pantsir model. I will check it out.

Time for a little update. The body color is actually a bit warmer. Photos taken with a cell phone.
