1/87 Podvizhnoye Pulemyotnoye Gnezdo

My latest endeavor, the Podvizhnoye Pulemyotnoye Gnezdo or the PPG Tankette.
Also known as "Object 217" It was a mobile machine gun nest.

Designed by Sergey Kamotsky of Robototehnik, I re-scaled the kit to my preferred 1/87.
I opened the lightening holes in the road wheels and drive sprocket. Also added were
styrene machine guns, styrene exhaust and clear head light lens.

Length of model is 1.13".

As this kit was previously built by rockpaperscissors, I will not go in depth as to the history of the object.

Thanks for stopping in.

I built it in 1/50, and that was small enough for me. I can't believe you opened the holes in the wheels. Wonderful work as always.

Another excellent model, Ray.

That mobile machine gun nest was a strange little critter.
