Ok I'm not very good in explaining things LOL

But here are the "molds".The black one I used for the headlights on tne greif.I always have my eyes with me and pick up things with shapes that can come in handy when building models.

When I have found the right shaped thing,I cut the part out.

Glue the edges together and place it over the "mold" like this

And then it's just to bend the flips down to the right shape against the top of the "mold" And begin to glue one flip to the other one by one.

I hope this made some sence

Yeah, that's what I imagined more or less, I just wasn't sure how you glue it.
Now it's kind of obvious what you do.
Thanks!

Also, I can't believe you found such a perfect shape :p

I'm always looking for things I can use in my builds. When I'm outside walking in the mountains or in the woods, there are always something small to take home....some moss, tiny branches, small stones, things that look like trees...etc etc.
And when I'm at work , my eyes usually scans here and there for things to use as tools, materials like metal rods, wire, nets strips of many kinds and things with nice round shapes in various sizes
There are always something to find!!

They are pretty busy at the moment......finishing the rest odf the wheels
But you can have them over when the T40 is done!

Hey wait a second!! Then the build of the luchs starts.....sorry mate :( But I think I need them for that build also!

Making a small diorama

Hello!

I have started to make what will be a small winterscene.
My idea is to have the T40 standing in front of a small house.

The tank will be standing in a snow covered road with dirty/slushy tracks.Around the house there will be snowpiles and the window will be frostbiten.

The corrugated roof are covered with snow.

Some details.
The window will have a tiny layer of ice in the lower corners.
The edge will have snow "blown" around the corner (If I can manage to make the effect)
And the door will be grey as the rest of the house.

I will also make a back wall to cover the back side and maybe some interior that can be seen through the window.Typical a table and chairs.
A snow shuffle will be placed up against the wall.
This is just ideas, and my ideas have the tendency to change during the build process,so It might be something totally different....
