Thanks Kevin! So, after I started this one up again I was called out of town on business for a week. Anyway, the last two days, I was back at it.
Fit on this is still not so good. The drivers side instrument panel assembly had a bottom plate that was too long. I cut it flush with the formers, no big deal. Then the assembly that mounts underneath (heater?) would have been too long if I built it as indicated, so I left off the piece closest to the "firewall." Next up was the steering wheel assembly, Lots of fabricated parts in this one. Took me most of an evening just for this. At least fit was OK. greg

I won't deny this work is a bit tedious to me...
Fit of all components must be constantly checked as you never know when something wonky will show up. For example the placement of the hand lever. There's a mark on the floor where it is "supposed" to go but this placement seems wrong to me and I decided to place it further forward. I fear the seat may not fit later on, so I'm crossing my fingers. greg

Not sure how I missed this one bobbing to the surface. It is good to see it back in work again. Keep at it Greg!

Thanks Don!
I'm done with decorating the left side driver's cab. I guessed right for the hand lever location. I did add one piece to the lever as there is a latch piece as part of the handle. This is not called out anywhere on the drawings or the patterns sheet, but it is definitely there in the reference photos I found on the internet and looks really odd without it. Also, I only added about 1/2 to 2/3 of the hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical lines referenced in the drawings. I think the level of detail I achieved is acceptable and would really like to move on to the right side cab. Looks like this cab will be a little less tedious, but I've been wrong on this project before.... greg

Right side cab interior progress. So far so good.
I was finishing up a Peterbilt truck for my local model club's December club build so progress is not as extensive as could be. greg

Interior walls on right side cab. No real issues here. The empty holder bracket had rings made from doubled card to get color on both sides. This made no sense to me , so I did not double and instead painted the inside surfaces of them and the single ply bottom disks.
I started working on the four cab seats. There are three different configurations of these. I started the base for the driver's seat. No pictures this time, will catch up on next post. I will say that I have already countered an error in the drawings for the drivers seat. Not an error that will mess me up though, just some misplaced details.... greg
