I don't remember what I said in the posts that were victim to the forum crash, so I'll start over. The suspension on this beastie is not easy to build. laminated pieces need to be bent (not fun) and the drawings are so freakin' confusing. I made parts I thought were missing and ended up removing them to install other parts. Parts are shown omitted on the drawings but exist on the parts sheets and I gave up trying to have the steering and suspension be operable. My goal now is to just make it look decent and limit the "ugly".

Here are the pictures to get everyone back up to speed.

Firstly, sad to see you lost some posts - secondly, great to see you back. When the instructions are hard to understand in the way they are NEXT to USELESS - you do right by making her completely static my friend, what i can see thus far is a complex piece of paper engineering, and just to have and own that when completed, will be a TREAT for your eyes and everyone else's that are privileged to gaze at her. Look forward to more from you Greg

This nightmare of a suspension is almost complete. I have some steering pieces left and I can move on to something else.

After another self-imposed delay to build a JSC boat and work on the Sherman for the KCStephens/modelperry duel at next years convention. I have done some more work on the Scud launcher. Here are a couple pictures of some items on the right side and the steering box on the left. Thankfully, there were no real fit issues with the exception of part 50 being too long (easily fixed by trimming the ends to fit).
