Hi,
I didn't have too much free time last weekend but I prepared main parts of road wheels:

@Tomek: I finished materials for Ka-Mi and I sent them to my publisher. There were a few small corrections needed what I did and I got preliminary approval. Also I got a promise that final approval I should get end of August because we are in the middle of holiday season and most of people having free time now. So, we have to wait for end of holiday season.

The road wheels look great Michal. It would have taken me along time time to build them that well.

Hi,

Today a few words about wheels. Idler wheels are almost ready. I added axis and small circle on front of the wheels. I glue idler wheel suspension elements (I don't know right English name of it).

Road wheel arms are ready as well as road wheels. I glue drive wheel suspension elements to the hull.

Now I'm waiting to have all of these elements dry and I'm going to glue the road wheel arms to the hull and made track support rollers and drive wheels tonight.

Hello,

Thanks for nice words.

Lets me finish wheels topic today. On the beginning I glue road wheel arms to the hull. Next I made track support rollers.

When I cut all drive wheels elements I shape them and finally I made the wheels. To have right wheel's disk position I made small tool. Using this tool I'm sure that the disks are glue perpendicularly to the axis and distance between them corresponding to track width.

I temporary attached all wheels to the hull. I'll glue it after painting. My Ho-Ki looks as follow:

This is my last post before my holiday. I'll back in three weeks.

Regards,
Michal

Excellent work and good info on your techniques and tools. I have used a similar device for assuring alignment of wheel parts (although I still have trouble getting them aligned). It look like you have crafted a chisel out of an old table knife!

Hello,

Welcome back after long break. During last weeks I was working on materials for publishing Ho-Ki and I finished tracks. Now, I'm going to show how I made the tracks.

I started with cutting hols:

Next I started to glue single tracks:

cut small hols and track's sides:

After a few evenings I got ready all, 200 single tracks:

I'm going to paint all of them later on together with rest of vehicle. A few small pieces left and I hope I'll finish my Ho-Ki this week.

Regards,
Michal
