Antique Battleships

I built a model of Digitals Osablya. I can't seem to locate information about what the diagonal shafts are that attach to the hull above the waterline and to the catwalk. There are 7 on each side. Does anyone know what they were for?

I'm not sure what you mean but suspect you are referring to the booms that would be used to suspend the anti torpedo netting over the side when extended
