Angry my hp printer is dead all in one scanner copyer and printer! too!

i can't do anymore work on my paper models i'm so sorry about all this? it don't print anymore not only that but i bleeds under my printer too
and i don't know why it does that?? it's time to stop my creation and take a long break on making more models ideas and hopefully find an new printer that is compatible with my computer and my printer and my most important of all it works on card stock 110'b sheets of paper on white most of all thickness of printing in the new printer that i get! works on without paper jam stuck into it!

so I won't be doing anymore paper models until i get a new printer or just searching for new paper models websites and share them here with you all!

anyway I'll be here to look around and see whats new all i got to say is don't let you're printer do the same thing that happened to me! keep your models going don't let me stop you on your paper models quest!

but for now don't worry about me? I'll wait till i get my new printer delivered! so good luck on how long it will be till i find one from my family!

Sorry to read that, i´ve learned to maintain my HP printer and how to refill cartridges . also about scheduled obsolescence of them in the hard way, because my old printer stopped , there is no support for it and i had to buy a new one.

My 7 year old HP printer just died yesterday as well. An incurable problem with the print heads that it keeps trying to fix. Replacing the printhead assembly is possible, with used parts not from HP, from but will cost $150. The time for a new printer has come.

I hope that you all get your printers sorted out soon.

Printers here in Dutchieland are dirt cheap nowadays. You can get yourself a decent printer for about 50 euros. It's the ink prices and the way the companies mess with their cartridges that makes me mad. Branded printer ink is more expensive than blood. And cheap off-brand cartridges often aren't accepted in printers because of the built-in chips in the branded cartridges. That is what I call a dirty rotten corporate trick.

The next printer I am going to buy will be equipped with a fluid refill system so I can use any ink I want. I don't want to be told what to buy by any company.

Sounds like your wast ink pads are full. I believe on Hp printers the when these are full the printer will also stop printing.

Its a little work but you can clean or replace the pads (they resemble paper dippers). some of the major suppliers of non OEM ink cartridges sell new pads or a kit to replace them and clean the printer.

This video may fit your printer if not search youtube using
'printer wast ink" to find a video that would apply to your printer.

I have two HP printers...in boxes...I think one may be new.
The other slightly used.
Both free to good homes.

Unfortunately you would have to pick them up! since shipping would probably cost more than the Printers are worth.

I'll never run an HP printer again.
Finicky, constantly needing fixes, and Ink usage is way too high.
Not to mention the most expensive Ink cartridges of all brands.

As PaperKos says, printers are dirt cheap now.
Check Walmart for printer deals...but be warned they usually come with only starter ink (low capacity).

Best deals are on Brother's website...better printers that run on cheaper inks.
I got my Brother printer at Staples for $50!

I have an hp officejet 7612. It will scan up to A3 and 11x17, and also does fax. the only bad part is the cost and of hp cartridges. I buy the XLs from Amazon, a little cheaper.

Cheers, Bob

Now i have an HP Deskjet 3050, after watch several youtube tutorials, i decided to make an investment by buying ink and some syringes to maintain and refill HP ink cartridges, considering difficulties in my country i´m really saving a lot by making this.

I use a small colour laser printer - secondhand but great for printing models still.

Laser cartridges are expensive to buy, but the prints work out really cheap and you get thousands form a cartridge. The cartridges also don't dry and they can stand for ages without any issues.

Quite honestly if I lived anywhere they had decent print shops I would rather use these instead!

----------------------------------

Remember with a lot of the smaller home machines, when you replace a toner you are also replacing the master units (the main mechanics), so it should be breakdown free (!). That accounts largely for the high price...
