Hmm, I think thats aren't flaps, but ailerons (in wings) to roll aircraft and if left going down, right should going up. If eachone will down, than riggin must be cuted or damaged or something else.(sory if I use worng nomenclature in english)

However, You make very nice plane!

nothing; your model looks very nice but is so as jjb89 wrote this are ailerons. In those days fighters did not yet have flaps. Ailerons move differential.

And I am POSITIVE they did not have airbrakes

Very cool on the info though guys maybe someday I will build one that has them !

thanks for the info guys.

i do know about ailerons and flaps. flaps are a term sometimes used to generalize these parts. i will be more specific in the future
