Sad to say this, but I'm starting all over as the colour of the wings and nose aren't right when compared with photos that I googled. The colour should be greyish green or greenish grey but certainly not purplish as what I have built so far. Just don't like it, so a re-do is called for.

That's a shame papermate. Whatever the medium, a scale model is a miniature representation of a full size subject and all aspects, not least of all colour should be accurate. I can understand your approach here.
