Dear friends, thank you very much for your compliments and encouragement. I'm not quite done with all the accessories yet and will keep them posted from time to time. Some improvements will be made to the missiles as they don't look some good to me. Must admit that the bicycle is a real challenge for me to install some 8 spokes to each of the wheels. The seat and storage tray on the back are scratch built to make it look more 3D.

Just about ready to sign up for the cutandfold challenge 2013. The entry that I'm submitting is the LC 130 USN-USMC Hercules at 1/200. Hope can make it before the deadline ends. The build thread will start here at this forum so as to encourage more entrants at the micro-scale category.
Start date: 6 May 2013. End date: I dunno! Papermate |

Apart from being an entry in the cutandfold challenge, this fits into 1/200 criteria and is thus taken as No. 73 of this series.
And just a glimpse of the nose cone. Papermate |

Firewing and Carlos, thank you for you encouragement.
More build pic of this bird. I have taken steps according to Dave's instructions. The forward fuselage is almost done and should be complete with section 18. You'll see a tab is being fixed to the former in the last section of the forward fuselage. This is useful to push and pull the former into position. The tab will be snipped off when done, if desired. The rear fuselage is complete. The fit is perfect thanks to Dave's great and precise design. One thing I find is that the use of formers even at this tiny scale helps to form the parts into their designed shapes. Papermate |

Thanks, John. I use 80 gsm paper, double print and glue one over another. In this way, it is easy to tame the paper. I think it is better than using 160 gsm (or close to it) outright. The glue in between the layers helps so much better when you shape, curl or bend or whatever the parts.
I hope also to see it finished, on time, I mean. Papermate |
