It's time that the Royal Navy came up stage. And I'm starting to build Gary Pilsworth's Fairey Gannet ECM6 with wings in extended position. Must say quite a lot of fiddly parts to handle and let's see how it goes.

Well, a few pics as a starter. Very good design, Gary, with a reasonable use of formers and the fit is excellent even in such tiny scale. The prop shaft in the second pic shows structure of rotatable props but probably in only one direction.

More updates. To increase the difficulty level, I scratch built the bomb bay doors.
But honestly, that's the result of a messy glue job at the belly of the plane. I removed the belly bomb bay parts and did a makeover. Apart from that, some details of the bomb bay are also included. The nose cone was also dry fit and seems to look okay. Papermate |
