Re hello!!

Hi all! Been more than 10 years, but I知 back, hopefully for a long time😜
I知 still trying to fly rc paper planes, still building models. Eyesore going, hands shake but I知 trying. Current build attempting to (I致e got the spelling wrong) iguilardos albatross add more details, add rc equipment and moveable flight surfaces. Alas now I have the time but physical skills are ageing. If I can figure this out again I値l add pictures. I致e got a few models I知 tinkering with, I知 trying to add carbon fiber tissue to strengthen the paper for rc flight, I値l probably add depron for wings and tails and using paper clay for 3D parts. I知 looking forward to read all your threads and builds, hope you enjoy my messes. 😎. How do you all feel about mixing media痴? Using paper clay as a medium, filler, putty for sanding? My son says that cheating. Glad to be back
Peace

Hello alaimo,
welcome from Italy!

The projects you are trying are really interesting, I'm curious to see how you will proceed.

About mixing media, I got a joke somewhere in the forum stating that if something different from paper and glue is used, he or she will be banned from the forum...
Of course, it's just a joke!

P.S.: very nice the pictures!

Using anything that is not considered paper or paper byproduct is... how do I put it gently... it's a matter of personal choice the goal is to achieve the desired level of detail that you want for your builds. For me personally it's heresy but that's just for me personally and I do not hold anybody to this standard.

Hey Alaimo, O - H

Yeah, there are particularprojects that I try to keep 100% paper - just to test my skill and resourcefulness. But you never hear plastic kit builders complain that someone used photo etced, resin, or water slide decals do you?
