jobeaux,
There used to be a 1:50th scale model of the F11F at Digital Paper Models, Card Models, Paper Models - HobbyFactory.com
in the digital downloads. But I fail to see it offered any more. I have it on my
old computer but have not built it. It has better panel lines than the one you
built. I find that all the Stallhart line of models have the same issues. Namely
too large of panel line thickness......Ron

Maybe Rick or Jason can find it or is it just not offered anymore

OOPS my bad. I found it at the top of page 8 in the digital downloads.
There is no picture of it and the scale is 1:48th....Ron

Everyone has different likings. You see, I *love* well-defined panel lines! Because when I did models as a kid, I always wanted dark panel lines, and never knew how to do them.

Anyway, only FYI, all my models are vector-based and editable, which means anyone with a little knowledge in vector software could easily adjust them to their own liking.

Kind regards, Chris

Chris,
You have some very good designs but the panel lines are
not my cup of tea. Everyone has their preferences. I think
if you offered the thin panel lines it would spark more interest
in your models....Ron

Pretty good build of the F11F version there.
I really enjoy Chris's models. Boy I can't believe you've built it in 1:72... my fingers just won't cope, not to mention my eyes. I’m already finding it hard to build the 1:60 scale models… On the other hand I like to upscale his models and find them extremely easy to assemble, everything fits just as perfect as when in 1:60 scale. Even though I like to upscale them, I don't agree that the panel lines are too thick….

All said, you deserve a pat on the back… it's a job well done!

You lucky dog, you! I've only ever seen them perform when they were in the A-4s, I bet those giant, powerful Phantoms made for an impressive show! Thanks for your kind compliments!

Chirs, I had been meaning to ask what program you used to design your models? I also wanted to let you know that although my pics aren't the greatest, you're welcome to use them on your site if you would like, the link to the album is below, and I believe its set to allow you to download them if you would like. Thanks again for all the work you put into these designs, and your generosity in providing them for free.

Thanks for the compliment Werner. The secret is lots and lots of tweezers supplied by my wife who works in the medical field. My hands shake terribly, and I find that working with tools even when I could do things "bare-handed" helps a great deal.

jobeaux,
You noted in your opening comments that you thought you
got the nose gear too long. It looks about right to me unless
you are posing it as a cat shot then it would be shorter...Ron

Jobeaux,
the Software I use is Macromedia Freehand MX. It's hopelessly outdated, but has the vector tool I like best. Also, unlike Illustrator, it allows multiple pages. Aside from Freehand, the model pdfs can be edited in any Vector-based program, such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Inkscape.
Thanks for offering me the photos, I already added them to my user photos collection.

Chris
