Indoor flying Models in Kent

Hi there All
Next Saturday evening, 2nd April, I will be attending an indoor flying meeting at the Angel leisure centre in Tonbridge Kent (about 50 yards from Tonbridge national rail station)
I will have my new Martinsyde Elephant and DH5 on parade...
I will also be flying my Jimmy McCudden SE5a....You might be able to spot a trimming flight of the plane on the film below...
i think there is a couple of quid entrance fee
Be good to chat !, i`ll explain how i convert my card
model designs into flying models
....chocks away

Those are some sweet models there. The idea of actually flying them is "chilling", but it is a great feeling seeing them fly. I used to take my rubber band planes to a large field close to where I lived, there was an area with grass they never mowed that got around 3 feet high. Perfect place for a landing. Good luck.

These are beautiful. Stick and tissue flying scale is my other model building love, so I await with interest to learn more about how you combine the paper model techniques with indoor flying models.

I'm honestly intriqued by indoor flying models and compititions... No such competitions or meetings in South Africa I know of unfortunately... :'-C
I Love it!

Thanks for sharing though!

Hey Chat`s
Ol` DD is on the back burner at the moment.
I built the one available on the internet, but it didn`t `sit right`
When i get through a spate of building 1/144th scale card model aircraft, I`ll get right back to it.
Not forgotten !

May I ask if you know of any other venues where indoor flying is done in the UK.... I'm just north of Birmingham and would very much like to visit a meeting.
