F-86 Sabre Korean Veterans Model

Gary, AKA Musicman and myself are at it again. This time we're posting one of two aircraft we're working on to honor the Veterans of the Korean War. This one is the F-86 Sabre Jet with marking for all US Services that served in Korea. As this aircraft ushered in the combat Jet age. The second model is the F4U Corsair, major ground support aircraft in the Korean war. We collaborated on the paint sceme and markings. Gary built the stock FG version and gimped both models and I did the one with detailed cockpit and canopy.

The F86 Sabre, brought swept wing and sonic boom to modern warfare. In 1950 the Sabre was rushed to Korea to combat the MiG in a new kind of combat with closing speeds and performance never before experienced. High over the Yalu River, Sabres and MiGs tested each other in the biggest jet-vs-jet battles in history.

Awesome built... is that a Korean Veterans logo (left wing) and where can i download the Sabre?

On the left wing are the Army and Navy seals, and on the right wing are the Air Force and Marine seals. On the fuselage sides are the Veterans logo you refer to.

The kit, I believe, is the Fiddlers Green F-86. www.fiddlersgreen.net
