Thanks Yogi. What a great little plane! Thank you for sharing it. I love the early Curtiss story. This certainly captures an historic moment. Anyone up for modelling the ship Ely took off from? What is the story behind the blue tail feathers and the name "Blue Cherub"? Is this a flying replica? Cheers,

Thanks, Rob.
The blue tail was a last minute "joke" when I looked at the Blue Angel bookends (F6F to F-18) for the final display. Just seemed to need to be the first, littlest angel. Hence the tail number. Might have the Cherub bit wrong, never was much of an angel scholar. The download, of course, has the stock or blue tail option. Feel free to repaint as desired. Yogi |

Hey, Papermodelfan, are you going to show up with your models at the Robert L Scott show in Warner Robins. There is a contest category for paper models sponsored by Chris from ECardmodels.com. It's at the Museum of Aviation. The date is June 4.

So, lots of downloads of the Curtiss. Any completions (and attendant corrections needed)?
