Thanks guys :D

Roman's models are a pleasure to build. I can't get enough of em :D

As for that goof I made, yes the pilot was cocked to the side a tad but that was because the super glue grabbed before I could turn him straight :P The real goof was the nose piece was cocked clockwise a tad. Had the wings on before I noticed :P I hid it with the prop as cutting it off to re-position would have done more harm than good.

Not discernable.

And in the real world, pilots to tend to wriggle around a bit.

I agree, Roman's designs are wonderful and very enjoyable to build.

I think the bit about the nose piece is one of those things that only the builder is aware of and will notice when they look back on their work...as to the rest of the world, they won't see it and sometimes still won't even if told about it by the builder...beautiful work all around as far as I can see!

Cheers!
Jim

G1, more good builds.

Just sent off the Spade-marked Jasta Boelcke DVII to Chris this weekend for the website, I've started it in 1/144. I get leery when I see the wing framework and think about all those little "edges" at the trail edge of the wings, but they once again seem to be lining up in spite of myself.

As I get further along I'll try to post some pics of it. It's amazing how many 1/144 planes you can fit on one page to print out!

Cool!

I found that WofW forum today, and am waiting for confirmation of registration, but there are some really neat builds there, and a few of yours, my dear sir!

I am liking this scale, haven't built many but I have a few plans in mind for a few kits that 1/144 would be perfect for.

Thanks for introducing me to that forum!

Cheers!
Jim
