1/100 dfw cv

Here is my build of a German WWI DFW CV in 1/100 scale. As you can see I had a little problem with the fit and my edge coloring, but it is the first time I have built anything at this scale.

Excellent build, especially for a first in a tiny scale. Be careful, these smaller scales can be addictive!

Good job! That one turned out looking really nice! I have one in 1/72 on my workbench...sadly it's been pushed aside by a 1/144 Fokker D.VII, but I hope to get back to it one day. From what I've read, it was the workhorse of the German two-seater fleet. It did it all, recon, bombing, it even flew escort for other two-seaters.

Thanks for the kind words

Alcides: This was a free download, but I don't remember where I downloaded it from, it was quite some time ago that I downloaded it. There was one page of parts and one page of instructions, but the instructions were not complete. There was no designer name or web address on the parts or instructions. I don't know if it was a legitimate download. When I started to build I searched the internet to see if I could locate it again, in hopes of finding more instructions, but could never find it.

I'm not sure, but I think it might be one of Eric Johnson's models that was hosted on Zealot....

i think the page we are looking for is www.propellerblatt.de.
Is a german association interested in aircraft of the 1900-1920 period.
I remember that in the page were two free downloads:
The DFW, in 1/72 scale, and a LVG in 1/48 scale.
I have find a link to the models in the page www.freepapertoys
I think this page is not a pirate site.
