Thanks, Ray and guys.
It's an Epson L4260. Yea, pretty good, no complaint so far. |

MIG-23 Flogger, 1/70
Ojimak's next plane is MIG-23 Flogger at 1/70 scale. I guess he'll be releasing this model after reviewing his files.
He may also be releasing a swept-wing version of the MIG-23 as he has mentioned in his blog but it's again up to him. I have made one with swept wings but for obvious reasons I'm not showing it at the moment. |

Faceted vs. contoured
Neat Flogger!
I've been wondering: it seems like Ojimak models (other than the Concorde one) are designed with faceted surfaces, to be folded along the dashed lines per the instructions, but can instead be made curved, as depicted. Is that impression correct? In terms of making it curved, how accurate are the body contours to those of the real aircraft?

Thanks guys.
I think not every model paper plane is exactly as the real one. It’s just a look-alike and is good enough for me. Ojimak planes are just like that and I don’t always follow strictly the faceted or guide lines but still arriving at satisfactory results. |

Don't you guys know that Ojimak has published his Mig-23 in both open and swept wings versions? They are now available on the Hangar Page of his website.

F-111, scale 1/80, swept wing version
Ojimak's latest design, F-111, will hopefully be released soon after this test build. It's about 11 inches long (28 cm) and can be catapulted like an arrow.
Maybe he'll release also the open wing version. The last picture shows the launcher affixed and ready to go or shoot. Remember, don't aim at anyone as the nose cone is pointed and sharp, and dangerous. |

Rq-4b jasdf 1/100
The latest Ojimak plane is RQ-4B JSADF at the scale of 1/100.
Length of this model is 6.5 inches and wing span, 17 inches. Not a very good flyer and wings not strong enough to last tossing, or flying or whatever. |

Neat one! Given the dearth of effective horizontal stabilizer area, you might try using a low pitching moment airfoil. In case you're not familiar, that would be normally cambered for about the first 2/3 of the chord and then an upturned trailing edge, like an "S" shape in cross-section.
I was having the worst time trying to get this tailless plane to glide until I contacted some kind folks in Japan who had done an R/C version. They recommended a low pitching moment airfoil, which solved the problem. |
