x-47b ucas drone
how about this baby huh?
Gallery they said it was a flying saucer when they were transporting it thru kansas this week. it would be kind of nice to do a history of drones and post them, maybe like one a week by different modelers. |

how many drones are there? and im thinking of the batwing type only , as the cruise missle kind are pretty heavily made as a seperate class of drones.
something like from the gulf war on, or maybe the x-b series 1-28+? |

There are only a small handful of papermodel drones out there. The RQ-170 as mentioned, the Northrop Grumman UCAV in 1/72 or 1/32 by ModelArt, Global Hawk by a few people (a bit square, but I would like to see one done properly). There is even a Coast Guard Version of the Global Hawk at maquettes.hautetfort.com. There are the paper models of the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper. Also not talked about much is the MQ-8B Fire Scout (see myhobbycraft.blogspot.com) and Sikorsky Cypher (papercraftsquare.com) as a papermodel. Popular Mechanics just had a wonderful article on the X-47B with cover artwork (worth looking over). As you can tell, I like drones too. My favorites are the old firebees and then the new stealth variety.
