Nicely done, Commander!

I have no idea, why remind me this plane on a Me-262?

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

Basically, because the Kikka was based upon production drawings for the Me.262. The Japanese planned to build a later, slightly larger version of Kikka that would have even more closely resembled the Me.262 parent.

This case parallels that of the Japanese development of the JM8 Shusui from the Me.163 Komet. Both Kikka, it's planned successor, and JM8 Shusui were in effect Licence-derived Japanese copies of the German originals.

Kind and Respectful Regards Wilfried, Uyraell.

Thank you Uyraell,

it's a pity that always a war push the technological development of many things.

With lovely greetings

You are most welcome Wilfried.
It is true that war pushes technological development, but then, without war there would often be no incentive to further develop a given technology.

That's simple human nature: to cling to a traditional form until some new innovation changes the tradition, only to itself become tradition in a short time.
The urgency of war tends to step past the above cycle simply because it allows no time for it to take place.

Kind and Respectful Regards Wilfried, Uyraell.

Hello Uyraell,

I think we interfear the thread of the Commander?; but I agree, the phlegm a social maledy?! in times of milk and honey.
An interesting theme that was worth to discuss - but I think a cardmodel forum is not the right place ... and I'm not competent with my limited English knowledge ...

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried
