The wing is built at the usual (very good) quality I've come to expect on this site, but the wire work in the engine looks really special

Here are the pics for the final build of the props and spinner on the engine front, this is what will go into the final build of this model kit.




The ring on prop spinner is set at a height that will clear the wires on the front of the engine. This lets the back of the prop spinner make full contact with the face of the false engine front for a solid glue surface.

Quick Scale Check

So here are some shots of a quick scale check of the 1:48 model. I punched a wing slot hole through a quick build of the fuselage and slipped the wing through

Then stuck on the rear elevators and rudders. No work of art here, just a quick build to make sure the overall look is correct, before I start chasing all the little stuff.

I have a lot of work to do on the engine nacelles as they are not even close to right...I will continue to plug away, and hope to make some real headway soon.
