Supermarine Spitfire Vb (Kartonowy Arsenał 1/2005)

As I promised here, I am showing some pictures of the Spitfire I have just finished. Later on I am going to provide you with some build photos and comments...

Overall I am mostly satisfied with the final effect, though I realize there is still much to improve. Not every flaw can be seen on these photos - in fact the model looks better here than in reality...

I love this spitfire, great job! Of course I am curious about the rounded contours and lack of joint lines. Looks like the real thing! I'm trying to finish my second one (gave away the first, which had a partially exposed merlin) but my ship model is consuming my time....

Absolutely beautiful! I am very interested in hearing about the retouching techniques you used, and how you managed to do such a beautiful job on the underside of the nose -- no visible seams or sections. I'm in awe....

Bill,

It looks to me that Łukasz used a putty to fill the gaps and then repainted the entire model

You ought to enter that in a plastic model contest and let everyone swoon over it then burst their bubble after they give you first place by telling them what it really is.

You're sure it's not a plastic model you're showing us by mistake?
