Rigging Help

I have decided to try the Marek P-26 I have yet to decide on the original 1:33 or reduce to a 1:48. Regardless. I feel the rigging is what makes this plane. I have studied the model and am trying to figure out how to do the rigging. Specifically th "pylon" just f'wrd of the cockpit. anchoring the rigging in the wings is well covered in the forum with many great ideas, but how do you anchor the threads to the pylon? If it is a single thread from one wing to the other how do you make the join to the pylon that looks good and is the paper pylon string enough to handle the tension (even with the insert lamination). Thanks for any help in advance.

The "pylon" you're asking about is actually an antenna mast. I drilled a small hole at the top of the mast and at each wingtip and used elastic thread for the antenna wire. There was also an antenna wire running from the headrest to the top of the vertical fin as well. I put the minimal amount of tension I could to keep the wire taut and so far the mast is still holding up. Hope this helps.
