Well, I finally finished cutting out the canopy framing and finished making the mold earlier today. It's drying now....I think I'll leave it for a couple days or so....and then I'll have the plug ready to be sanded down all smooth like and waiting for some clear plastic.

Sorry for the delay of getting this posted folks . Lots of things happening earlier in the month...kiddo's 10th birthday...our 13th wedding anniversary...work...and just other general things keeping me from finishing her up till today. And as a matter of fact...photos taken just 30 minutes ago.

What was left from the previous post was the pitot tube, guns, radio mast and the canopy...which was all done little by little since last post...and finished the canopy today.

So....without further adieu....I'm calling her done!!

Here you have Will Aldridge's Republic XP-72 Ultra-Bolt decked out in her Texas Air National Guard red, white and blue's! I think this get-up is the best one to build....if I do say so myself. Ha!

And here are the pictures you've been waiting for if you have read this far! *disclaimer=> Any imperfections you do notice in this build is entirely the fault of the builder not paying attention to the build and rushing in some spots.

Hi Robert.
This is one extremely attractive looking T-bolt!

Outstanding, Robert!

I hope to build Will's great model someday (as well as his Corsair and Moonbat). This alternate-universe Texas Air National Guard version is a genuine inspiration.

Thanks Jeff! Pretty much the reason I chose to build it sooner rather than later. It just looked soooo purdy printed out!

Thanks Don! I also want to tackle the Corsair (military version[s]) and the Moonbat someday.

Thanks Gerardo! I'd like to attend the IPMS, but will most likely not be able to. However, you are more than welcome to take this model up there to be shown.....so long as I get it back eventually. She's intended to be displayed at the office where I work. HA!

I am really glad you built this one Robert. I knew when I finally came up with this paint scheme that I had a winner. I just didn't know if anyone would ever build it, so thank you.

Oh yeah Will.....this scheme is definitely a winner!

But thank you Will for designing a great model and providing it for the rest of us to build.
