I am still looking. I've attached what I've found above and beyond what Chicharrero has provided. It looks like the landing gear retracts to the rear, much the same way as the Martin B-10. I haven't found a picture of the cockpit, but suspect it was very "simple", similar to contemparary aircraft of the time (Boeing F4B for example or the Boeing P-26).

Anyone else find more data for Roman?

There doesn't seem to be a lot out there-even Boeing's own website only has a single small photo.

I will look through my collection of books and journals. Some of the material is no doubt copyrighted and I will contact Roman directly of any such that I find and keep the B-9 Team informed.

simple gioogle search turned up a number of items, too many to post here, but the wiki page had a lot of nice info, also designations of yb-9, y1b-9 and y1-b9a got results too.
A RC had some nice pictures of a flying version:
