Thank you very much, tekzo. I was wondering if I should upscale your Enterprise to 1/200, I'll be needing formers as support and would it be possible for you to give me formers from your computer files at the same scale of your original model?

Just a couple or more of the S3 Viking, wings folded. Only this time, the wing-folded one is in genuine photo paper and a real photo 4R print.

Fantastic work Paper

Paper to say that your modeling on this scale is amazing is a understatement but to take photos at this level of detail and working with the depth of field is also difficult plus the amount of light needed. I would be very interested in what camera your using and how you can take these photos with this kind of detail. Also, what do you use to view your model as you are working of them. I’m not sure how you do this but you craftsmanship only get better and better. Fantastic work Paper. Fantastic!. wc

Thank you, Waddy. I normally use Aperture Priority on my Nikon D5000, AF-S Micro Nikkor 85mm 1:3.5G ED lens to take pic of my builds because I can make use of the longer focal length to keep the whole object in focus. Sometimes, my cellphone HTC One X is also used to take really close macro pics. Photoshopping the pics is necessary to correct the tone, saturation and colour. And as I work with my models, I need the OptiVISOR 2X. And most important of all, your passion if you want to do them good.

Photos

Your depth of field looks right on the money. My cell phone, I have to agree is ok when I'm in a hurry. I use a Nikon D80 with a close up lens set. I find balancing the white really help to bring out the real color if I'm not using natural sun light as my main source. Your photos are amazing. wc

Thanks, Waddy. I should also mention that the use of Photoshop help greatly to present the pics as they are. Maybe the next time I post pics, I'll post a before and after pic to show the difference.

Now, the Prowler is done with everything that comes with the kit. Photo-prints are used to build these tiny planes from now on.

And the line-up as of now.

Shown here also is a

and "after"

comparison to see how Photoshop is necessary to make things different.
I just used auto tone, auto contrast and auto colour - that's what I know to correct the pics.
