Anybody ever work on the rest of the plane?

I built the DC-3 back when it first came out, in the original book. I just downloaded it so I can build again. Has anyone ever thought of designing the back 2/3rds of the DC-3? I would think it would be pretty awesome to have the full plane hanging from a high ceiling, or the front on one wall and the back on the other side of the wall.

I'm not sure, but I think that was already discussed in the original thread.
The Alan Rose DC-3

Alan Rose didn't want to design a matching rear section to the kit, since it was thought to be displayed as a trophy. And it would be a huge work anyway. With Alan now gone, chances are that this kit will remain as it is.

Some solutions were proposed: to enlarge and recolor parts of an existing complete kit to match Alan's. Which was impractical: if one would like a huge 6ft complete DC-3, why not just enlarge the whole kit to 1:16 and use that already complete enlarged kit, instead of the trophy-like Alan Rose kit?

Bob from Bob's Cards Models designed a rear section and made some modifications. But he reduced the scale to 1:30 and repainted it in Iberia colors

There's a Alan Rose Dc-3 kit on eBay right now and the person is asking $150 US. It's been listed there for awhile now, doesn't seem to be any bites.
Hope this gives you an idea of what it's worth.
Having one that we can download for free might effect the price somewhat. It's a collectible though, and makes it worth whatever you can get for it.

I would love to see this kit in C-47 livery. My father flew one in England, France, Holland, and Germany during World War II.
