I've done some recolouring of the FG's F-4E and changed it to become a T-bird. The scale is 1:72 and the length of the model measures 8.5 inches. The pics of the prototype are shown below. The last but one page shows the glitch in matching the markings of the nose fuselage with the gun pod. A paint job to touch up the whole thing will be carried out later. The plane is not yet fully completed, awaiting installation of undercarriage, arrestor hook, missile launchers and missiles. An optional page is also included for a fleet of 6 T-birds and special marking of the "Rattling Rita". Any comments are welcome.

Very nice. Maybe Scott would be interested in your T-bird page.

Good job, the F-4 T-bird is probably my favorite paint scheme.
And great job on the pictures themselves. |

Thanks, guys. I was wondering why there were no F-4E T-birds markings ever designed by anybody. Is it because of the F-4E itself that is not as likable as others such as T-38, T-33 or F-16?

I didn't even know the T-birds flew F-4's until Yogi mentioned it in his T-bird thread. I always associated it with the Blue Angels.
Maybe that's why there aren't any T-bird F-4's On a side note, I've been thinking of doing my own version of the F-4, and of course the T-birds and Blue Angels versions. |

Murphyaa I really think you would be the perfect guy to do a version of each of the T-birds. Who else thinks this?
I would be the first in line to buy them. Give it some thought please. |

Inky, you seem to have missed Moshe's F-15 T-bird repaint in your collection.

Aaron, The Mole is right and it is good money sense to design an entire collection of T-birds including the F-15 but at one scale, please. I'm definitely sure that there's a huge market for that, far better than just oddballs. As of now, you have the F-106 and T-38 ready, right?
