Great looking build so far. The color combo is eyecatching, and everything is clean and straight. Nice job.

This is really more for Aaron...but the colors of the model look off to me. I used to build a LOT of pre-WWII USAAC and USN aircraft, so I dug into the colors extensively. One of the best sources I found was IPMS Stockholm's color charts. Color Reference Charts -* United States

Check out the pre-1939 references for Chrome Yellow and Olive Drab:
FED-STD-595 Federal Standard 595 Color FS 13538
FED-STD-595 Federal Standard 595 Color FS 30227

I no longer have Dana Bell's most excellent Air Force Colors Vol. 1, but IIRC, the Army's Orange Yellow (the actual designation) was even a bit darker than the Navy version.

Just my .02 zlotys, but I think the colors should be different....

This issue of color is a very interesting discussion, and I also have some considerations.

First: The color tone changes dramatically in print, depending on the brand of printer.

Look: both printers are made in photo printer mode, the left in HP D24 series, and the right sheet in a Epson L100. I choice the HP print before is more light.

Second: The shade effect. Aaron made a shade effect in all model to made a shine look, like a Prudenziatti models, the shading produce a extra light effect.

Third: The Scale Effect. In all my builds I lighter the colors in Glimp for preserve aspect ratio for 1/100 scale. Because this I chosse the HP print for not aplly the shade.

Fourth: The discussion of accurate colors in model hobby is very dangerous, more in papermodelling, because the colors in ecran not really represented in real print color. I have all Air Force Colors books edited by Squadron by Dana Bell and Monogram Colors Guides, exist divergences in colors chips. Many old pics are made in pantographic modes, the colors is heavy dark. For me I like the colors, is sufficient to made a good representation.

Best regards!
