Thanks, guys.
The popularity of the model made me extremely cautious when designing it. An error would be so obvious when everyone knows the plane so well.

Michik, I think I remember seeing this plane you are talking about, spewing chewing gums in stead of bullets. But I don't seem to find the color scheme.

My older brother says that the B-25J has a solid nose with 6 .50 cal machine guns.

The I model was produced in both forms, a strafer and a level bomber with the glassed nose.

That should have been a J. There was no I model.

In addition to the regular strafer and bomber variants, the J version also had a gunship variant with the glass nose. OK, it was a field modification IIRC.

(Bruno, I just sent you an email re B-25)

No problem, Bruno, I'm well equipped!
(I love the way, the Corsair's engine gets clotted with the chewing gum and finally blows up!)

OK this must be one of the most extreme camos for a bomber....if one excludes the "guides" B-24 Liberators and their colorful liveries.

I was wondering do you guys actually know all the names of these planes (and all the info you regale us with) or do you just have some sort of dictionary of planes that gives you all the answers?
I only ask 'cause I want one as well! Wheredoyagetit?

I get it from a collection of books and stuff that my older brothers and father have built.

Some of us are plane lovers. I was an aircraft mechanic and flight engineer in the Air Force
and I have been studying/reading/collecting since I was a small boy. I built my first plane
model when I was about six, and plane kits were the gifts most often received.
