In addition to the regular strafer and bomber variants, the J version also had a gunship variant with the glass nose. OK, it was a field modification IIRC.

OK this must be one of the most extreme camos for a bomber....if one excludes the "guides" B-24 Liberators and their colorful liveries.

I was wondering do you guys actually know all the names of these planes (and all the info you regale us with) or do you just have some sort of dictionary of planes that gives you all the answers?

Some of us are plane lovers. I was an aircraft mechanic and flight engineer in the Air Force
and I have been studying/reading/collecting since I was a small boy. I built my first plane model when I was about six, and plane kits were the gifts most often received.
