I think one of Bruno's Hawker Hunters also has black/yellow stripes.I might be wrong since my memory is like a Swiss cheese.

C Flight, 849 NAS served aboard HMS Albion during MUSKETEER. (David Brown, Carrier Air Groups: HMS Eagle: Volume 1. Windsor, UK: Hylton Lacy, 1972, p. 69; Joe Baugher, "Service of AD Skyraider with FLeet Air Arm," available at Service of AD Skyraider with Fleet Air Arm)

Also, if my eyes do not deceive me, the Sea Fury in Bruno's image no 4 at http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/6...post12719.html is actually a Korean War bird, which is fine with me, as I have been collecting both Korean War and MUSKETEER FAA aircraft with an eye toward actually building some of them some day.

If anyone has discovered any other KoWar or MUSKETEER aircraft among Bruno's offerings, I would be glad to know about them.

Don

Thanks yet again for your amazing output Bruno.
And Don, thank YOU for sharing your encyclopedic knowledge and insight into all things aviation.

Thanks Michael and Garry, but I talk more than I build, and when I build, the results usually aren't so great.

And I certainly do not have encyclopedic knowledge into all things aviation. There are certain areas in which I have a genuine interest, a fair number of references, and some experience with research: pre-1960 U.S., British Empire/Commonwealth, Japanese, and East Asian aviation, naval/maritime, transportation, and military history. Outside of those areas, I defer to others (and I defer to a lot of others on these topics, as well).

But within those areas, I really enjoy trying to track down info. I fear that it sometimes may come across as nit-picking, rivet counting, or trying to show off my "general knowledge," but it's really just a passion to try to find out what the evidence tells us about aircraft, units, and events. I may get carried away, but I try not to be critical, to be civil, and to be humble (Dave Winfield has told me that I have a lot to be humble about).

Sorry for this diversion, Bruno.

Don

Bruno, please indulge me with one last parting shot but I have to sort this Don Boose character out.

Don, I defy any member of this forum to get on here and say they think any of your fears are true. SO FEAR NOT DEAR SIR!

Thanks Bruno. That's HIM sorted out.

Thanks, Tigertony for the recolor.

Rata, you did not bother at all.
At least the thread stays alive while I'm not there

only got three recolors done of FB.3, FGA.4 and FB.5. Still need to actually design the larger fuel tanks of these later marks.

You had me doubting so I had to check.
I found a meteor NF, a Dassault Ouragan and Mystère, the skyraider Don mentioned and a sea fury from the opposite side, nut no Hunter. Probably if I ever get to redo these
