I sometimes wish I could design and/or recolour. Then I see the latest batch of Bruno's creations and realize I have no reason to. A million times over: thanks again bloke.

I do not do recolors the right way because I know it is going to be addictive.

You're welcome.
You can always help with recolors, so I can continue making new designs. (and you can earn a little with it too by sending them to Ecard )

Anyway, Sea Vixen FAW.1 released

11 to go for a next milestone. (2750)

Weird timing. I was just looking last night at that horrible Sea Vixen crash at Farnborough.

I was Googling details about the Cherokee while recoloring, and came across Pussy Galore's Flying Circus in the movie Goldfinger. Since one of my recolors had a very similar scheme, I went ahead and did 2 of the 5 aircraft closest to the PA-28-140.

Just added the new file to my Cherokee folder in our downloads area, enjoy!

My excuse for coming in second is I had to find wheel pants graphics I could borrow for the Philippine versions. I ended up using wheel pants from Tak Nagasawa's Cessna C172 (which I didn't use for my Cessna C172 recolors).

My suggestion is use the struts but lose the wheels, and laminate the layers in this sequence: long colored, short, medium, short, long, long, short, medium, short, long colored to get something resembling a streamlined shape. Plus this will make the landing gear stiff enough to hold up the plane.

I found 3 civilian examples of Philippine PA-28-140s with useful photos, so those are in the file (which I've also added to our downloads section). Others were bigger engined, or retract versions. I increased the scale to 1:72, but if you want 1:100 just print out 2 pages per sheet. Enjoy!

Thanks Ifuente. I'm increasingly getting the feeling there's not a single plane ever existed that someone hasn't done in card/paper.
