There is even a picture of a real thing. That part is a mount of upper end of undercarriage oleo strut. It's sticking out from a wing but it's actually a part of a fuselage if I remember correctly.

Very good question Pablito, I was also wondering where that parts belongs!
It should be fitted before landing gear. Tony.

Many thanks for the replies to the location of the parts in the AN-2, in what I do I will not place it on the spot, because the chassis is ready, but in the next 2 An-2 I will do it for me

I should have been more specific. In real plane that part is a fairing/cover for extensions of fuselage frames. It's a load bearing part that had to be extended for added stability of airplane when landing in rough terrain/surface.In most planes that part is inside wings.

Look at that classic example of Russian simplicity and ruggedness. It's why their war machines kept going long after others bit the dust.

You had me going for a moment at "Finnish" lol.

LOT had/has nice looking SP-LVD example of B737 Max in "100 Years of Independence" livery. Unfortunately it's far too complicated duplicate for me.

Woo Tony, good, you do several models at the same time, and how is An-2 the Vienna man with a dragon?
