Those above the wing pylons were tested in the 1970ies as part of the "International Jaguar" programme. There are pics of a RAF marked Jaguar at the Le Bourget airshow of 1979 carrying Matra R550 Magic on those pylons. The indian Jaguars have been using them since the 1980ies. They've since switched to the ASRAAM.
The RAF didn't feel the need for those additional pylons until the Gulf war in the early 1990ies (I think they were part of the GR.1A upgrade) and then used AIM-9L Sidewinders on them, not Magics. TL/DR: before the 1990ies, the only Jags in british markings sporting overwing missiles were test airframes for the export program and they only carried Magics. The GR.1A used in the Gulf War used Sidewinders on those overwing pylons. Below a small pic of an ecuadorian Jaguar with a Magic training round on the overwing pylons. edit: 2 airframes that used those pylons (with Magic missiles) were the second prototype of the Jaguar S (S-07 , serial XW563) which became the demonstrator for the Jaguar International and the first production Jaguar S (XX108 that was at Le Bourget in 1979 and had a landing gear accident), also used as a Jaguar International demonstrator. Sorry, but I'm getting old and my memory took a bit of a chemotherapy bashing a few years back now. I was not actually in the RAF, but a Squaddie that served on a few RAF bases during the "Cold War". The aircraft were mainly just background noise to me. As the Bionic Budgie (Jaguar) came in to replace the previous Phantoms and took over their QRA role, we assumed that the big central "Drop Tank" thingy was a nuke. I could be wrong, but this blog article does seem to confirm this.
StackPath "Group Captain Bill Pixton, a pilot on No. 14 Squadron, recalls what it was like to stand nuclear QRA, the theory of dropping a nuclear weapon and the strike/attack roles of Jaguar in RAF Germany during this period." Somewhere among my pics I should still have the three views of the Bruggen Budgie that I posted (Way back) in this thread for Bruno. Let me know if you want them re-posted.

Verdict of the test build of the Jaguar in RAF camo :
- annoying color issues on the undersides/inner sides of the engines pods - minor color issue on the nose undersides - minor color issue on the spine (that one was sort of expected) -> camo scheme need corrections I built the grey/white winter scheme. It's my 3rd Jaguar build and I still have issues mating the rear fuselage to the central section and adding the engine pods. I did better on the french one.

Has anyone build the 100 scale F-102A? Do you have images? I feel stupid to keep asking for help with the small parts. It is very frustrating. I looked on line and found the drawing below, but it doesn't help with what all the small parts are. Bruno's instructions tell you how to generally assemble the models but not how to figure out the small parts. Does anyone have a method for doing this? How does everyone figure out where all the little pieces go. I would like to stop having to ask. I have a lot of 50s jets I want to do and hate bothering everyone. Maybe we should start a thread about Help for bruno's models.
