To commence the weekend, A little model of the RF-84F I created about a year ago but never build for my own collection.

This weekend should (if nothing comes in between) result in a few models in the 1/300 series. I already prepared the plans for the Convair CV-990, the Dassault Mercure, the Sud-aviation Caravelle and a few others. The order is not yet defined.

The Thunderflash looks good!

I can't wait to see the Caravelle. Are you making a De Havilland Comet? The first 2 Caravelles used the Comet front section.

Hmm the Dassault Mercure... their only attempt at making an airliner. Only 12 built.

With some delay, here comes the Caravelle in 1/300 scale.
I need to do some alignments in the blue lines on the fuselage. (These things happen in a first tryout version)

In accordance with the discussion earlier with Yoav, I worked with separate tabs this time. The connections between the parts of the fuselage are indeed smoother. This method on the other hand requires a bit more time in building the model.

Up to the next model.

After the Caravelle I built the Dassault Mercure in its original color scheme today in 1/300 scale.
Here too I worked with separate tabs for a smoother fuselage. However fot eh cockpit I added an extra layar and the thickness of the paper makes it visible. (Always in a learning curve)

Here are some pictures (as always).

Cheers

S&P - You have my admiration. I wonder how long you can endure this.
I wish you all the best
Some of your works are really superb designs. Hat off to you.

Thank you all.

We'll see how long I will keep up. As long as possible
(or until there are no aircraft anymore to model . I once tried to make a list of a/c of WWII and after 2400 different types I dispaired)

Let's start the weekend with a test of "Fat Albert" in 1/300 scale.
There is some work on the alignment and some parts, but I'm no too dissatisfied with the first result at this scale .
I also didn't use separate tabs, so the joints between parts are a bit rugged. I know I can do better.

If all goes well (and I get enough time) I'll try the Avro Vulcan in the same scale.
