This kind of tutorial is extraordinarily valuable!

Many thanks. I know it takes time, planning, and effort to provide this kind of instruction, but it sure helps we builders.

Ray,

Could you turn that into a distributable document?

Pretty Please with an Armadillo Egg on top?

As I will need the help when I start building those Marine Hornets

I know the importance of this type of explanation and indeed, as Don says, it takes time and planning. Aye, there's the rub.
but not complaining. Just happy that I could do it this time for this tricky design and build.

I'll see what I can do. It will take time, and the best I know of how to do it
is with a word doc.

Excellent tutorial Bruno and thanks for taking the time to prepare it.

Re the shaping, or sculpting of parts before gluing, one of the biggest helps I've found are cut-away drawings. There's one or more been done of most mass produced aircraft and are easy to find online. This one took me about 30 seconds to dig up.

That tutorial will be very useful. Part of the reason I avoid jets is the complexity of their shape but with something like F-18 that is another lever of it.

Thanks Bruno.
