Thanks Bruno. Much appreciated.
Do you have a link for that SM-2 1:50 Hoplite please?

Thanks for that Carlos. Brings back fond memories of bedtime reading of Tintin to my two sons every night for years. Capt Haddock's lines always made them laugh. Have the whole collection of the series still.

I also grew up with the Tintin comics. And that model was indeed on my to-do list.
A profile soon.

Stormeagle Hoplite is the NATO code designation of the Mil Mi-2 helicopter, and the SM-2 is the Polish modernization of the Mi-1 Hare helicopter

Thank you Pablito, I got this when I checked the link given by Butelczynski for SM2...it didn't look like the Hoplite I was looking for so I searched more and got the real picture. Thanks for clarifying though anyway.

A while back Karol (Butelczynski) posted his excellent build of Bruno's old Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden.
Thanks to that build it was apparent that while a good kit, there was a bit of an issue with the canopy to fuselage fit. It fired me up to do a repaint and try and do something about the canopy.
I think I pulled it off and here it is with landing gear, wing fairings and markings of the 352nd Kokutai.
Model has been submitted to Ecards if you would like a copy.
