If it's about the length of bottom of a vertical stabiliser then it's a former for it. If it's the size of engine hanging pylon then it's a part for it (my guess it's that).

Just checked on my original drawings. It's a part of the alternate wing (1/300 scale) and should go around the leading edge of the wing where the dotted lines are drawn.

I was fooled by myself.
When I made my own B737, I thought it was a structure in the wing, so I put it directly into the wing root. lol。

Update on E-2 project:
-Cockpit shape fixed
-Glue tab added
-Wing moved a little further from the cockpit
-Reworked cooling system air intake
-Reworked radar dish & support structure
