Bruno, I always get a bit worried when we don't hear from you for a while; but concern turns to relief on finding the reason for your your absence is you're beavering away giving us more of your wonderful stuff.

I'm so happy to see Mi-4 and Mi-2 before that. I'm working on Mi-1 now. I never did heli before so it's a bit new ground for me. Canadian Boeing Vertol is nice addition too.
Once upon a time Blue Thunder was my favorite action movie. I completely forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me and hopefully I can find dvd of it somewhere. |

Here is one of recent Bruno helis Mil Mi-1.
For info on it look up Wiki-I won't bore you with repeat from it Model looks easy but I found it very challenging to make symmetrical from all angles. There are some model shortcomings visible on pictures . Some are my own, some are Bruno bo-bo but most can be fixed once you look at my pictures. I will be building another Mi-1 with corrections. It was a pretty heli for times so why not. And one more set of pictures I made early morning. Not better but may be of some use. Enjoy |

Nice Hare Karol. Obviously not 1/100 though and therein lies the rub that anyone (me included) who enlarges from the original has found- small design or part fit problems become bigger and more obvious ones!

Indeed, although I use formulas to define the shapes' dimensions, the rest is purely "manual" and therefore not as precise as designing with a computer software. Enlarging makes any deviations only bigger.
Why am I even writing this??... Oh yeah, I wanted to make a pun, saying that my designs are more of a "handmade tale".
