I am arming a F100 Super Sabre, and the arms page has some pieces that I think are external fuel tanks, but am not sure. Identification assistance please?

Those are external fuel tanks. Identified as for the F-4, not sure if they would be correct for the F-100. But maybe?

Haven't been following as well as I'd like. Wishing you all the best, Bruno

Owlguy, I have this in my files.
As it doesn't have a catalogue number and (I checked) doesn't seem to be listed in the commercial catalogue, I'm guessing it was a freebie and most probably from this very thread.

After a long time I took a peek here again. Bruno, my fingers are crossed that you will recover quickly and that you will not suffer any consequences with the mobility or sensitivity of your hand.
I myself have been having problems with my right shoulder since last summer (and I'm right-handed!), so I know from personal experience what it's like when the pain makes it impossible to do what you need to do with your hand.
And what a relief it is when the pain eases. Granted, I still have limited mobility, but that's okay now.
So, speedy recovery, my friend!

Thanks Garry. If I'm not mistaken that ordnance can also be used on swept winged versions of F-84. Shape seems to be the same but size might not be. It wouldn't hurt to try. They might have been also used on F-86 by their last users.

They belong on the general weapons sheet "US Bombs Vietnam era" only someone selected these for that particular aircraft.

Similar set of bombs for WW2 planes would be useful, particularly British and Soviet. Someone was working on set like this long ago but somehow he stopped, not sure why.
