Rob

Try post #2636 on page 264. It's a PanAm version.

Bob

Thanks Bob. This is another gem, and I am glasd to see it. I think I misremembered the name of the plane I am looking for - it is the B-377 Stratocruiser Tail No N90948

Rob, here's my rescaled Bruno Pan Am 307 which you may find useful. I added some refinements too. It's 1/200 but easy enough to print smaller.

Cheers, Garry

Long time ago someone (Ken West?) did beautiful Boeing 307 in few liveries. Awesome models but unfortunately unavailable now. I think one was in this exact livery.

Yes. Like several Blackburn designs, he didn't find much to be complimentary about it.

B

John Dell and Scott Killenbeck were the designers for the 1/48 Boeing 307. I have the kit in the PanAm livery.

Hi Juan, Siwi, Ofanim,

Good grief!! I’m so embarrassed!!! What a fool. And I shoulda known better. Never mind, I printed another and just try again this evening!

Thank you both for telling me!

I’m wondering why are there alternate wings?
And should the 2 red spars be used in only the original wings or also with the alternative wings?

Thanks,
Alan
Gents,

I'm assuming the 2 parts in the red circle are the engine pylons but I'm not clear exactly how to mount to wing. Can anyone describe what's required before I frustrate myself?!

Thanks,
Alan

Thanks all. I have built and still have a squashed 1:300 model of the Boeing 377 model that look like a S&P design. If someone could point me to the most recent master list of the 1/300 designs, I will be happy to sniff it out myself. Cheers,

I don't mean to hijack Bruno's thread, but the Boeing 377 in American Overseas markings that you're looking for might be mine.
