Hi there,

Due to 1/300 scale in this thread is very hot and all model from scissorsandplanes is very cool, so I decide to assemble model from scissorsandplanes' workshop.

I choose 1/300 E-1B but I enlarge scale to 1/100 (300% from original size) Everything went very well, i have some fit problem in wing's engine but can be repair but I dont know I have something wrong on rescale or not because of Radome what combine with 2 parts and those 2 parts can not assemble together. I dont know which part is too big or another part is too small (like picture below)

Have anybody meet problem like me?

Nobi, have you tried Bruno's corrected file on the E-1B Tracer in which he seems to have
enlarged the radome part (upper).

No problem, Nobi. Would you add landing gears to the Tracer? I intend to do a 1/200
version with landing gears and another one with folded wings (too ambitious) sometime
later when I'm less busy. This may enlarge my 1/200 Navy Planes collection.

I thinking to do that too, What is your prefer? Box or Button type wheel?

F.Y.I. Thickness of main wheel is around 1.25 mm. and nose wheel is around 0.6 mm. in 1/200 scale

Hi Nobi,

thanks for sharing your 1/100 scale enlargement and for the compliment.

just to tell you that even with the enlarged radome, there will be need for a little trimming. in 1/300 scale less than 1 mm front and aft of the radome.
I know, nobody's perfect. I only use Word and Excel.

Bruno

Hi Bruno

Thank you very much. Trim is normal routine for paper modeling :-) Don't worry. Your work is awesome.
