So, Bruno, there's still quite a few float planes to order. I'll be emailing you soon.

I'm looking forward to the result. I really hope the 3-tone scheme comes out OK. If not, let me know what and where to adapt.

Indeed, and I started on the A6M2-N Rufe today (despite it being a working day). With the A6M2 already designed previously, that will be more easy to do. And then I'll tackle a corrected version of the Spitfire MkV Floatplane.

Bruno,
Just wanted you to know that the 3-toned camo Kingfisher is so far looking good. Will have some pics for you soon.

I am relieved to hear that. I keep my fingers crossed. You never know.

Here is the next model. since it is based partly on an earlier model, I managed to get it done in two evenings after work: The Nakajima A6M2-N Rufe floatplane.

I managed to find a color as close as possible to the Mitsubishi Grey. I'm also planning to do a green version. These will be number 720 and 721 in the series.

Here some pictures of the test build result.

Thanks, Carlos.
I'm rather satiesfied myself about the model. (Oh sweet vanity )
There were a few flaws in the test build, but they have been ironed out.
I really like the way the "Mitsubishi Grey", which is a bit greenish, turned out.

Bruno,
Very nice looking Rufe!! I for one am glad you are doing sea and float planes, for some reason they are very appealing.. I'll be ordering the latest up this weekend.

I seem to remember that there were landing gear designs somewhere in this thread. I'm having a hard time finding them.
