Perhaps we'll have to ask CaptMike.
and now something off subject: I know I have a strange sense of humor: half ironic, half sarcastic, half self-deprecation. So if ever I might have offended anyone with it, I'm sincerely sorry. I never mean to be cruel or scornful. Life is too short for that. |

The tail is definitely a DH, which was carried to the DH.88 Comet (the racer)

Su-17M4 Fitter - Correct Nose
Hi Bruno,
Thank so much for your feedback. Why did I not figure this out myself? Needless to say, your intended part and method looks far better than my crude imitation. Attached pictures of my second Fitter with the as-intended-by-the-master nose. Love it! I have step by step pictures of this build. I may post them in a separate thread in the next days. Cheers, Martin

It is definitely the DH10. I have to admit - I secretly hoped that by mentioning it as one of my favorites, Bruno would take the bait. My plan seems to have worked! Now there will be two models that I cannot wait to have in my collection. Thanks Bruno!
